Buried Messages: Navigating the World After Loss The ones we love truly never leave us.
Danny L. Ross’ most personal book yet touches on themes of mourning and loss while weaving in strands of his own grief journey. Full of empathy and without judgment, Buried Messages guides those at all stages of grief who are struggling to adapt to their new reality. Rather than telling mourners it is time to move on or force them through a prescribed set of stages, Danny guides the reader on how to process and explore their grief healthily and individually. Topics within the book include the following:
IT’S OKAY NOT TO BE OKAY
RECOGNIZING YOUR SUPPORT
UNLEARNING UNHELPFUL HABITS AROUND GRIEF
LETTING GO OF REGRET
THE GIFT OF SHARING
WAYS TO WORK THROUGH GRIEF AND LOSS

My Messages to Children Children face many challenges as they transition into adulthood: from navigating school and parents to their experiences with friendships, these years are pivotal to forming their identity.
Unfortunately, there are times when adults don’t take them seriously or listen without judgment to their concerns. This workbook is an opportunity for children to learn about themselves and make themselves heard by the adults in their lives. It contains reflective questions, quizzes, and activities, as well as stories from real kids and the issues they’re facing. My Messages to Children includes:
● Space after each question leaves room for students to write down their
responses directly on the page.
● Coping techniques to help children learn how to identify and master their
emotions.
● Stories from real children that put each chapter into context and help readers
identify.
The workbook encompasses the author’s more than 20 years of experience working with families on issues such as family support, educational needs, truancy, absenteeism, poor academic performance, and simple self- discovery. This experience has taught him that children want to be heard and seen. They want to be included in the discussions related to their lives. This workbook helps them do just that.
